Day 1 – Saskatchewan to Minot, ND

Starting in Saskatoon, we head down south to Minot, ND, picking up passengers along the way. Arriving at Minot in the afternoon, and after checking in, you are taken to the Dakota Square Mall for some shopping.

Day 2 – Minot

This morning we take you to the Scandinavian Heritage Park, where you will find remembrances from each of the five Scandinavian and Nordic countries. Step inside a real Stabbur, explore the full-scale Stave Church, and walk around the 25ft tall Swedish Dala Horse. 

Later, head to the North Dakota State Fair Grounds to begin our Høstfest adventure! With your included daily admission, you will be able to explore everything Høstfest has to offer. From the many different shopping and dining vendors, to the top-tier entertainment that authentically showcases Scandinavian Culture, there is plenty to keep you busy throughout the festival.

Included today for the Main Stage entertainment will be the Gaelic Storm & Texas Tenors Show at 1:00PM.

Day 3 – Minot

The whole day is free to enjoy all the sights, sounds and of course tastes of Høstfest! In the evening, you will make your way over to the Main Stage for tonight's entertainment, Trace Adkins at 7:00PM.

In his 25-year career in Country music, Trace Adkins has sold over 11 million albums, charted over 20 singles, earned numerous awards and Grammy nominations, and garnered over two billion streams. A Grand Ole Opry member for nearly two decades, the Louisiana native is known for dynamic baritone and fiery, always-memorable live performances, and has expanded his Country career to include film and TV acting.

Day 4 – Minot

Another full day spent at Høstfest. Today, you get to enjoy the afternoon Jay Leno Show at 1:00PM. Be sure to stick around the grounds for this evenings concert at the Main Stage, Ryan Bingham at 7:00PM.

Jay Leno’s late night television ratings domination included two decades as the host of the #1-rated “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” –after the first two years Jay Leno never lost a single ratings year in which he served as host. Leno currently produces and is host of the CNBC primetime series JAY LENO’S GARAGE now in its eighth season.

From the beginning of his recording career, with “Mescalito,” Ryan Bingham has defied easy classification. As a rising country star, he ranged from Woody Guthrie-style folk songs and Spanish-language balladry to gritty hard rock. It’s all American music.

Day 5 – Minot

Enjoy your last full day at Høstfest. This afternoon you will be treated to the final show of the week on the Main Stage, the 50th Anniversary of a Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor at 5:00PM. 

Garrison Keillor was born in 1942 in Anoka, Minnesota, and began his radio career as a freshman at the University of Minnesota, from which he graduated in 1966. He went to work for Minnesota Public Radio in 1969, and from July 6, 1974 through July 1, 2016, he created and hosted his popular variety show, A Prairie Home Companion, for some 3.5 million listeners on 700 public radio stations coast to coast and beyond. Keillor has been honored with Grammy, ACE, and George Foster Peabody awards, the National Humanities Medal, and election to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Day 6 – Minot to Saskatchewan

This morning, board the coach for a Duty Free stop and then its back into Canada and home.
