ItineraryDay 1 – Saskatchewan to Winnipeg/Fargo
North coach passengers will travel Highway 16 east picking up along the way en route to Winnipeg. The south coach will travel south crossing into North Dakota and spend the night in Fargo. The North Battleford coach will travel through Saskatoon picking up along the way en route to Winnipeg.
Day 2 – Winnipeg/Fargo to Minneapolis/Eau Claire
Travel day heading south.
Day 3 – Minneapolis/Eau Claire to Bloomington/Champaign
From country to city on today’s drive.
Day 4 – Bloomington/Champaign to Louisville, KY
The highlight of the day will be the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory Tour. The museum celebrates the extraordinary role Louisville Slugger baseball bats have played in the sport’s past, present and future. From the forest to the field, you’ll follow the time that’s turned into hard-hitting history.
Day 5 – Louisville to Gatlinburg, TN
First stop will be at Churchill Downs for a visit to the Kentucky Derby Museum. From there, pass through the Lexington Bluegrass Region and the Smoky Mountains on the way to Pigeon Forge, your home for the next two nights. This evening, visit Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner & Show for a unique experience.
Day 6 – Pigeon Forge
A fun-filled afternoon at Dollywood, where there’s music, shows, crafts, displays, and Chasing Rainbows, Dolly’s very own museum. After dinner stay awhile to enjoy the 4 million or so lights throughout the park.
Day 7 – Gatlinburg to Nashville, TN
Upon arrival into Nashville, the Music City, will be the Nashville Visitor’s Center where we will be personally greeted and given an overview of Nashville. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore on your own in downtown Nashville. This evening, enjoy a private dinner and live music by local singer/songwriter James Dean Hicks who is an amazing and sought after Nashville songwriter. His songs have been recorded by the biggest artists in the world including Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Reba McIntyre and Alison Krauss.
Day 8 – Nashville
A free morning to relax or maybe head back downtown to see more sights. After lunch, it’s off to the Opryland Hotel for a self guided tour. You’ve seen your favourite country artists perform here on TV or heard them on the radio and tonight you will see them live at the Grand Ole Opry. This will be an evening to remember!
Day 9 – Nashville
Today starts with a tour of the famous RCA Studio B which is the oldest surviving recording studio in Nashville and one of the most famous studios in the world. Then it’s over to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. This museum is home to thousands of priceless artifacts, images, and sounds that have inspired young and old from around the globe.
Day 10 – Nashville to Memphis, TN
This morning, it’s off to the Land of the Blues, Memphis and a fabulous Elvis Experience Tour & Airplanes at Graceland, legendary home of The King, the late, great Elvis Presley.
Day 11 – Memphis to Branson, MO
Travel through the beautiful Ozark Mountains to your home for the next four nights, Branson. First up The Presley’s Country Christmas Jubilee Show, the perfect country gospel variety show that the whole family can enjoy. The show features the popular Presley family, a troupe of local musical legends who have performed in the Ozarks for four generations. Combining hilarious comedy and classic country music, Presley's Country Jubilee is a must-see experience!
Day 12 – Branson
This morning, we will take in some of the local sights of Branson. Enjoy a free afternoon to relax or take in an optional show. We will close out the evening with the “Miracle of Christmas” at the Sight & Sound Theatre. The Miracle of Christmas story starts with Joseph and Mary of Nazareth during their trials they go through leading up to the birth of Jesus of Bethlehem. See how the Nazareth townspeople betray them and the Roman rule of Herod and his soldiers as they threaten to destroy their way of living. The play comes to life as it is partnered with trained live animals that are housed on-site. Filled with beautiful costumes throughout the entire cast as the shepherds and kings travel on camels to present gifts to Jesus.
Day 13 – Branson
This morning will be The Down Home Country Morning Show. This wonderful country morning show will have you singing and dancing along to all your favorite hits. The show features a mixture of all the best and most spirited genres: Classic Country, Gospel music, and Western Swing all expertly performed in one show. After lunch, you'll be amazed by the incredible talent showcased by the talented family of the Duttons as they sing, dance, and play a huge collection of instruments as part of their musical celebration. The talent within this group is tremendous! After mastering the violin (at three years old), the kids moved on to the banjo, piano, guitar, and a variety of other musical instruments and are known for their instrumental virtuosity. You're in for a magical surprise when you see this outstanding and amazing family perform on stage. No matter what your musical taste may be, from pop to contemporary rock to bluegrass, this show is going to deliver you smiles. This evening’s show will be Clay Cooper’s Country Christmas Music Express. A live band and live music on the stage helps to create one of the most unforgettable shows of the year. A troupe of 24 seasoned entertainers brings a high-energy variety show that will have the whole audience tapping their toes, laughing and singing along to the music. Featured performers include a group of 11 dancers; and Colt and Caden Cooper, Clay's sons, who are beginning to follow in their father's footsteps. This show features rock n roll, classic country rock, and other live music backed by a talented band who truly take pride in performing awesome Clay Cooper songs for Branson.
Day 14 – Branson
The last morning in Branson is at leisure to catch up on some rest, go shopping, or take in an optional show. This afternoon, enjoy a fabulous Christmas Dinner Cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle. This classic showboat-style activity transports guests to the days of paddleboats along the Mississippi River right on Table Rock Lake. A great Branson dinner cruise allows guests to relax and unwind while enjoying amazing sightseeing opportunities along the sparkling Table Rock Lake. As well as offering panoramic views of picturesque scenery, these cruises also feature energetic entertainment that will impress and delight and delicious meals that will make your mouth water. We will close out the evening with The Haygood’s Evening Show. This family-friendly presentation features a variety of spirited music that will have the whole crowd toe-tapping to the beat. It is entirely live, featuring a multitude of 20 instruments each played by a member of this six-piece group full of talent. It also features state-of-the-art light and sound, stunning visual elements, beautiful costumes, intricately woven harmonies, dancing, and tons of energy. Whether fans like to jam out to country music, country rock vibes, or revel in watching them performing their amazing choreography or seeing the special effects, there is something to be enjoyed by everyone each night.
Day 15 – Branson to St. Joseph, MO
After all the non-stop excitement, it will be nice to sit back and relax on the journey back home. Once we arrive in St Joseph, there’s a guided tour of the Pony Express Museum, a transport museum documenting the history of the Pony Express, the first fast mail line across the North American continent from the Missouri River to the Pacific Coast.
Day 16 – St. Joseph to Watertown, SD
After a day of travelling, the stop overnight is in Watertown, South Dakota. This evening, join your fellow travellers, tour director and bus driver for a WestWorld Tours Farewell Dinner (you may even find yourself assisting with the entertainment).
Day 17 – Watertown to Minot/Winnipeg
After a duty free stop the ‘North’ coach heads for Winnipeg where we say goodbye to our Manitoba passengers. The ‘South’ coach will continue to Minot for one more night in the USA.
Day 18 – Winnipeg/Minot to Saskatchewan
This is the last day of the tour as both coaches make their way to Saskatchewan.
